If you follow Brian's link it takes you to it, it's a generic off brand called Getlink. Had zero expectations, but we both spent deer season trying to wear it out and I don't even understand how it still works like the day I unpacked it.

Any recommendations on the bags? Or are they all the same generic stuff and cheaper the better?

They are definitely not all the same, but the low priced bulk ones I get on Amazon are generally better quality than the food saver ones. I also HATE the rolls and get precut bags(aside from gusseted) but that's personal preference.
