The fire department is on the scene early in the morning. When you get a message at 7:08 a.m. from a client because their entire WordPress website has a critical error and nothing is working anymore. Site is down, admin login not possible. (Fixed it in 20 Minutes)

Can you reveal what your process is?

Im assuming you had access to the db on the back end?

It's actually very easy with the right kind of specialized Wordpress hoster. If you can't log into WordPress, the WordPress hoster shows a list of critical errors in their dashboard and in the log files. The error message then hints you to the plugin that caused the error. Then I just deactivate that plugin, also in the hoster's dashboard, and website is accessible again.
