TODAYS FACTS!!!

-Browser extensions are not 100% secure

-Private keys should never be entered in random websites

-You wouldnt put your Facebook password or a bitcoin private key in a random website. Same security should be done for your nostr private key

Can't argue with technical facts πŸ«ΆπŸ’œπŸ§‘

πŸ’― Why don’t more people understand this?

Share the shit out of this, this is critical information!!

Agree πŸ‘

Same can agree with this, everything else is pure noise lol

Funny that 10-15 years ago it was pretty common to share your Facebook/google password to interact with other websites/services. It was the only way at the beginning. Hopefully things change with Nostr too!

Here's what even funnier , giving your debit card credit card over the phone with the password on the back. To someone who may write it down and just as easily use it. This is why Bitcoin is needed. The banking system we use now is so outdated and silly

Letting Alby manage it isn't 100% secure, but it's probably the least-worst of the options as far as a compromise between convenience and security. Storing it in one of those offline seed signers is a cool idea. There were some cool demonstrations at Nostrica about it.

I guess this is because I am a 0 risk guy. Hence why I only buy bitcoin and don't mess around with shitcoins. Bitcoin is 0 Risk.

The man speaks truth.

When it comes to Bitcoin, I'm an offline, non-digital, totally physical and non-destructible record of my keys kind of guy.

I only keep spending amounts in hot wallets.
