Good Morning!

Question: every time I post a note there are spambots who reply. Is there anything I can do to hinder them?

I have tried muting, but this does not prevent them from generating a new account of course.

Hey, one thing you can do is join a paid relay. I haven’t had much trouble with them though despite not yet paying directly for a relay so maybe I’m a bad comparison. Ignoring them maybe works too 😁

How many bots are you getting?

Just a few, I am intrigued by the idea to have the spammers pay for their posts as this breaks their incentive.

Did it help you just putting the paid relay in your list? Sounds strange, I have some reading on relays to do..

I think you’d need to take the free ones off. But I don’t know - haven’t really messed around with paid relays yet. I also have that reading to do haha.

And yeah I agree. Making it a little expensive for everyone makes it way too expensive for them.
