I'm' following everyone back that commented on this post & zapped it. I can look at the post to see the zaps. (I hope)
I've tried setting my relays back to default and adding back the paid 🍷relays. Uninstalling & reinstalling. I'm at a loss. No idea what to do?! Sorry this is long. 💜🙏🏻

Hey! Sorry it took me a bit. Yes I did. I tried two & basically, I should have had my data backed up using nostrsync.live

Something similar happened to me where (without realizing) i must have authorized a browser client to edit my follows and delete them all.
But then i open my Nostur client on iOS and it notified me that all my contacts had been removed and offered to reinstate them 😅
Weird..
Since i’m trying out different browser clients through alby extension login i haven’t been able to figure out which one has a potential deleting bug yet…

Contact list is a kind 3 event which could be overwritten, clients are responsible for preserving the old contact list whenever they make new additions to it, most probably the client OP chose to use was not responsible enough with their contact list.
This happened to me once. I was playing with multiple clients and also manually creating events and *puf*, all my followers were gone.
I used this tool to recover them.
