If Americans are charged higher taxes in the form of tariffs at the same time that tens of thousands of Americans are being laid off, inevitably more and more Americans will spend less money and then we will likely be in a loop of less consumer spending, the stock market dropping, and companies laying off Americans 🔄 The stock market has already erased one year of gains. The question is how long will this go on for? The next 4 years?

It would be interesting if people could buy bitcoin directly through their 401(k) plans, 529 plans, etc.

With Unchained you can. Other than that you can with the ETFs. I do.

Gosh, Dr. The 20% tariff on China in Trumps first term increased prices by less than 1%.

Did you know that?

2024 set a record for Americans vacationing in Europe AND for Americans on food stamps. The K shaped recovery since COVID accrued all benefits to capital and public sector jobs.

Did you know that?

The thing was broken.

Lower to middle class Americans need jobs and opportunity, not handouts. They need dignity and the prospects of upward mobility for their kids, not reduced real wages, skyrocketing college costs for a diluted degree.

Judge the policies based on their objectives. This first requires some humility to ask, what is this admin trying to do?

If these policies fail to reshore middle class jobs that result in real wage private sector incomes that exceed inflatiom, they will be a failure. If todays boys and girls cant qualify for a great paying job without saddling themselves with debt 5x their starting annual salaries, they will be a failure.

But a falling stock market is not an indicator of failure. The stock market dropping is a problem for capital, not labor. A "Mag7 problem, not a MAGA problem"

Also, this benefits Bitcoin.

Stocks and financial assets are another story. Bottom isnt in.
