Erm, kinda. I was a very young kid in the 1970’s.

In the UK, we had 3 channels until 1982.

I don’t know what the make of the TV was, but it was colour and had 6 buttons for the channels. Because we only had 3 channels, we doubled up until my Dad imported the first Hanimex games console around 1977 and then in 1982, I got a Dragon 32 computer, so by the early 80’s all 6 buttons were in use with the birth of Channel 4.
