We've been having connection issues with voice and video calls in #simplex

So today we're trying #threema , it connected first time without an issue.

Better use 0xChat.

Threema is another proprietary solution without future like all others. If you love open source and freedom, support those solutions to make sure they improve.

Oh, and simplex might be open source on the surface but is very much a closed development when you look closer. So those cases are disqualified.

Unfortunately we've had similar problems with 0xChat calls despite also setting up my own TURN server.
