The Raven as if written by Snoop Dog.

The Raven

Once upon a dope-ass midnight dreary,

While I was chillin', weak and weary,

Pondering some dank-ass ancient lore,

I nodded off, man, like never before.

Suddenly, there came a dope-ass tapping,

As if someone was gently napping,

"Yo, who's there?" I said, with my head all groggy,

I gotta check what's up, this ain't no folly.

Open I swung the chamber door,

And in stepped a raven, like never before,

This bird was fly, all black and shiny,

And its eyes, man, they were red and tiny.

"Yo, what's up, bird? You lost or what?"

I asked the raven, all cool and somewhat,

With a voice so deep, it chilled my soul,

It squawked, "Nevermore," that was its goal.

I scratched my head, like "What you mean?"

The bird just stared, like it's seen a scene,

It perched on my bust of Tupac Shakur,

And started droppin' some rhymes for sure.

"Quoth the raven, 'Nevermore, man,

In this game of life, you gotta have a plan,

Stay focused, hustle hard, and keep it real,

Never settle for less, always chase the thrill.'"

I was trippin', man, this bird was spittin',

Dropin' knowledge and truth, it was hittin',

I thanked the raven for its rap divine,

It nodded, then flew off into the night time.

And from that day on, I lived so fly,

Chasin' dreams, reachin' for the sky,

The raven's words, they stuck in my mind,

Guidin' me forward, forever entwined.

So remember, my homies, when times get tough,

Keep your head up, stay true and rough,

And when you hear the raven's call,

Embrace the message, stand tall, that's all.
