Hardest/most challenging mission/exercise you did while serving?
Discussion
Tough to pick one tbh.
But here’s one that definitely shaped me.
72 hours. No sleep. No food. Limited water. Minus 20°C. Out there in the woods. Soaked to the bone. Navigating rough terrain with 30kg on my back.
At some point your body breaks.
Your mind starts whispering lies.
You hallucinate.
Your mind tricks you.
But you keep moving.
In the end you realize…
No one’s coming to save you.
That was the mission.
That was the lesson.
Hardest mission wasn’t the physical part it always was beating your own mind.
No one’s coming to save you.
Not out there.
Not in life.
That stayed with me.
Still does.
Damn, three days. Thanks for sharing that 🙏
