I wasn't talking from a legal point of view - laws can change. I was speaking morally. Where laws treat born and naturalized citizens differently, those laws are immoral.
In any case the specific case was Benzema, the football player. Born in Lyon, his father "immigrated" to the metropolis as a French national in the 50's. His mother was born in Lyon.
All these politicians who now have their panties tied in a knot over the opinions and beliefs of French muslims should have thought about it many many years ago.
French morals are very secular:).

Let's suppose you hire ten people for your business and one of them is not doing anything else than inciting the others to destroy your business.
States are built as businesses and the laws just like the employment contracts make sure to cover such cases.
