I really don't understand how some of these clients have such weird bugs in them. I literally went thought my list of followers yesterday and followed every single one of them back. Today half of them say I am not following them. #amethyst #frustrating #nostrclientcomplaint what gives?

In the early days (December, 2022) of nostr, I found that when I was trying out new clients all the time my followers would get dumped. I stopped jumping to every client I could find.
I don't have issues anymore but still wary about testing new clients out. I am not sure if this was or is the issue now but I thought I'd just let you know my experience.
Thanks for sharing! I have tried a lot of clients but trying to stick to Amethyst and Primal. it could be me too. I'm still a noob and I find that most of the time I have a problem it was my brain that was the issue, not the client.
Maybe it helps if you add more relays manually. I also had some issues with following, posts, likes etc.
I suspect, that the information wasn't "relayed" wide enough. So I added some more relays manually. Since then, I haven't had those issues anymore.
That could be part of it. I had manually added probably 50 more relays but then things weren't loading with my VPN and I couldn't figure out what was going on so I switched back to the default relays before I realized all I need to do was reset my VPN. Will have to to back and add all those relays again.
