what do you include that is NOT meat or dairy? from that picture it appears honey and some fruit are on your list.

I went pretty extremely meat & dairy on Easter, so over 2 months ago, and experimenting here and there with other things I might occasionally choose to eat. I'm really trying to stick to less than 5g of carb per day, withbthe understanding that there will be an occasional exception - but that exception shouldnt take me over 50g carbs on a day.

Some things are because they just taste good (had a slice of cheesecake last week), others are for ease during family meals, like being okay with eating lightly sauced meat, or the toppings of a couple slices of pizza.

down over 20 lbs, noticeable in my midsection, which is where I carry all my extra mass. similar results, but no relief for allergies - they are hitting me hard right now. Blood pressure hasnt dropped as much as it should, A1C did drop a little, cholesterol went up, but I expected that.

Energy level and drive are way improved and even. I dont miss vegetables and plants at all, and I am open to them as seasoning (garlic) and medicine.

I'm not npub1gdu7w6l6w65qhrdeaf6eyywepwe7v7ezqtugsrxy7hl7ypjsvxksd76nak level hardcore, so I still enjoy some fruit as a side dish 😂

Those top 2 bottles are raw honey and ghee 👍

nice, got some ghee off the ½ price rack, worked well, but Im good with regular butter, although I try for unsalted.

I thought it might be mustard lol, had some mustard in a can of tuna for a snack earlier.

I think I may have started with Saifedean, but found my way back to the Bear. that guy was legend.

I like that I've found the minimum diet I need to thrive. And everything I choose after that isn't for health, just enjoyment, and there may be consequences.

Is unsalted better than salted in terms of grass-fed butter? I've always wondered that, as I've heard many dialed-in doctors claim the demonization of salt has been far overplayed

I would agree. I am assuming I get plenty of salt anyway, so I shouldn't need it added to my butter. part of that assumption is because I eat shellfish often, and other ocean fish, which either contains salt or is preserved in brine. I also still eat salami, pepperoni, even jerky as snacks, which have added salt.

salt intake makes you retain water, as I understand it, and since I am drinking plenty of water, I'd rather not retain it.

All that said, I dont think I would spend a lot of extra effort ensuring my butter is unsalted.

consuming a lot less salt will also mean the salinity of your sweat goes way down, since your body doesn't have the excess salt ti expel.. I've also noticed a big decrease in body odor, and I think that is partially because of a lot less salts in my sweat.
