Unfortunately, this is not far from reality. Governments around the world are increasing mass surveillance. Government planned events like the pandemic have allowed them to introduce more restrictions.
It is important to build a community around and with Bitcoin by going to meetings, but we also have to be aware of not attracting too much attention.
Bitcoin is outside the system and a threat to governments and banks.
