Are you sure it’s me? I wrote that fears of AI ruining young brains are premature, driven more by ideology than actual science.

i agree, i think all tech has good/evil uses, that choice is made by humans

Also I think AGI/Super intelligence is all hype

If by hype you mean fear it will take over the world, then I agree. As you say, it’s a tool that is ethically and praxeologically neutral.

I just don't think they're close to anything that will be conscious like a human
