I own my humble double wide home in Florida, 10 minutes from the ocean. I love it. But this year I will achieve reverse “snow bird” status as I am purchase a hunting cabins on acreage in upstate NY. We plan to spend spring-summer through Halloween there for the most part. Bouncing back and forth when necessary. Took me a while to get here. 😀

That’s awesome! I loved in fort myers for 4 years. Loved it 🏝️
Great set up avoid the snow best of both worlds right there with you east coast living
Plus we have a nice couples camper (we love camping) so this year I’m we will tow it to our cabin and leave it, which gives us some amenities that the cabin does not have yet(cabin does have power & cell service), plus we can camp in the Adirondacks, Maine or other places in the NE. And finally, it gets the camper out of Hurricane season in Florida, which was difficult last year 😐
Camper life for the summer sounds like a dream pure Freedom that’s a good plan puts my summer plans to shame back to the drawing board
My wife and I will both be 65 this year. We own two small businesses and have worked extremely hard the last 10 years to get to this point. I will still be working from the cabin and camping, but not physically- just managerially and administratively. I tested it camping the last couple of years. As long as you have signal/data!
