Just add the previous id as reference and send a new one?

I found the answer, some clients use an event with kind 1010 and the "e" tag with the event id to refer it.

For me, the Yakihonne article-format note has worked for this type of use, but in part, because it seems to reach fewer clients than conventional notes and it is a less direct text approach that scares many away.

As for regular notes, I still use the Amethyst editing feature, but since it is limited to those who use it, I often prefer to delete and post the correction or with the addition... Although it ends up undermining the interest of those who think they have seen everything before.

There is the case of making an addendum in the reply or quote to the post as well, but many times people do not see them and if they have seen them before, they do not return to see the errata, warnings or additions.

I still simply do not understand how people do not look at the reply, but it happens a lot, but I speculate that it is because some clients do not display them more directly or because the user himself is too lazy to read or has a habit of just jumping from post to post...

If the note has a tag 'd' it is created a new one and the previous is deleted. In some cases it could be a good use, but lose the history and is created new event id.

In Amethyst the system make copies, but in Yakihonne I think nothing is deleted and the Yakihonne article its tagged as 'a' on primal:
