In lasik they cut the top layer of your eye open and shoot lasers at your pupil, put the layer of eye ball back on and your eyesight is 20/20 if not better. In PRK they scrape the top layer off and shoot the lasers in and your scraped off eye layer heals back over a month. I had to do PRK because of the size of my eye. PRK is a longer recovery time, but you’re really only not able to drive for like a week. In lasik your back to normal the next day.

Sounds sketchy but it’s not painful at all and it’s very safe.
