Drives me bananas when people die and their family/friends give no clues on HOW or WHY.

Me: "Omg I'm so sorry for your loss. He seemed so healthy and happy. Young, too."

Them: "Yep."

Me: "So he... died? Just like that?"

Them: "Yep just like that."

Me: "Huh. Wow."
