I am trying to connect the dots... TiktokCEO's offputting Trump video, his seating at the inauguration, FB creating a tiktok-profile, Insta changing... Is this blackout just for Tiktok to be merged with Meta.
There was a rumor flying around that maybe TikTok would be merging with meta because a new “link your TikTok” element appeared in the final hours over on FB/IG but someone else had a more likely explanation which was that the meta team only just now approved the api-request bc they’re petty but want to appear unbiased for the inauguration. Lol.
