It’s as easy as wasting a few dollars worth of sats that you’ll never get back. Lol. I’ve only read into it a little bit trying to understand it, but there are a couple websites/wallets that support it. All they’re doing is creating little json data entries as inscriptions on bitcoin transactions. The json data lists the token ticker symbol, the quantity, etc. And then they send these around to each other as if they’re transacting something of value. It’s an absolute joke that anyone takes them seriously.
