Excellent! Thanks!
I'm in AZ and fairly familiar with the range of varietals grown in the state that have produced my favorite earthy reds.
Im always looking for regional differences to learn from.
I’m on a mission to try wines from all 50 states. Some of them have been “ok”, others were rough to drink, this particular winery was pretty good. Wines using native grapes aren’t too well received by the general public, since most people only know the big name grapes that aren’t native to the US. This place is making the native wines quite well. I did a review of them a couple of years ago and still had a few bottles of other varietals leftover. https://www.sonofvin.com/2021/02/18/50-wines-from-50-states-north-carolina/
