Neither do I Max, neither do I. Do you want me to help with your nip05? It shows as an error here but it should be easy to fix if you can upload a file to https://towardsliberty.com/.well-known/nostr.json

Thanks, what's the content of the json?

Just download the file from my site at https://m.rtijn.info/.well-known/nostr.json and between the quotes under names you type max

This is the part before the @ sign. Because I'm @m.rtijn.info, there is nothing there but you want max so put max between the quotes.

The hex code you replace with:

b7ed68b062de6b4a12e51fd5285c1e1e0ed0e5128cda93ab11b4150b55ed32fc

This is the hex of your npub. The one in the file is the hex of my npub so you'll need to replace it with the one listed above.

Create a directory on your website server root folder called .well-known and upload your new nostr file in it. You should be good to go. You can verify by going to https://towardsliberty.com/.well-known/nostr.json and it should display the file in your browser. It might take some time for clients to catch up (caching)

Any questions? Let me know. Here to help.

Thanks!

I use btcpay with a custom /btcpay domain, so I just did a redirect for .well-known to include /btcpay link.

It should work now?

No it doesn't. You didn't follow my instructions either. Follow the instructions and it will work. 😉

The file is here, what's wrong? towardsliberty.com/.well-known/nostr.json?name=max

Oh, the public key is not hex format?

Follow the instructions in my previous message. I even converted your npub to hex. 😉

Damn, that was obvious, thanks Martijn, now it's working.

It verifies correctly here sir! Now we all know you're the real deal. 😉
