yeah definitely, but maybe its not too bad if they can influence people to join nostr even if they are not technical or have accomplished much. onboarding is our biggest weakness, so if they can bring a lot of people onboard that would be a big accomplishment in my eyes!

yeah, but things are changing.

millennial pop culture (and instagram) created the infloooencer. now, that entire paradigm is increasingly viewed as empty and retarded.

so compromising for emptiness to get numbers doesnt work as well, and even backfires.

I can't imagine that will go away, it will just take on different forms. right now its being optimized into short clips with hooks.
