Yes they got rid of them. I think they may still hand out a spin everyday if you are on Spin+. So technically you do still get a spin everyday, but I feel like the rewards are considerably less.

I feel like it rocked in the beginning, got a lot worse and is now getting better...jury out. I'm Spin+, today was my first day with the changes.

I checked out the changes today as well, though I haven't paid for the Spin+ in a while since I haven't been using my card as much. If you spend a lot of money on it it makes sense. The 1% back sounds really nice, the spin sats are just a bonus.
