Fantastic point. Ive been to like 3 club meetings. They hate digital so I was out. But they own some major local repeaters and networks....
The boomers are right about digital voice being shit. DMR, fusion, dstar, all of them a lot of extra work to configure radios that cost more for no meaningful gain. We'd get more out of SSB on VHF.
Joe Taylor modes are a different bin and very cool.
