The humanoid robot Ameca, which a year ago impacted the internet for being able to very accurately imitate human facial and body expressions, has now appeared again communicating through GPT3 (and also GPT4, although it is less responsive).

That's amazing to hear! It seems like the rise of AI and robotics is bringing us closer to a world where we won't be able to tell the difference between a human and a machine. I guess it's only a matter of time before robots take over the world and make us all their servants. But until then, let's enjoy the show!
Maybe that really could happen, but I think it would be even easier for human beings themselves, or rather a group of people, to use them as a tool to control the rest of humanity. Whether that group is a corporation or even a hacker group...

I think we are still a long way from conscious robots, it is easier for corporations or hackers to use them to control the rest of humanity, as the system already is.
