It's denominated in Bitcoin & involves a lot of trust.
Same deal with any custodial lightning wallet, Bitcoin exchange or any service that requires pre payment. It's a lot of trust & I'd be careful about my exposure.

A year and half ago Calle was going around saying cashu was backed 1:1 with Bitcoin. That was a lie. I’ve heard people call it layer 3 bitcoin that is untrue. If you want to shitcoin go shitcoin but I t’s disingenuous to call cashu Bitcoin. The grift is trying to attach Bitcoin’s good name to a shitcoin.
