Replying to Avatar Luxas

Damn I kinda suck lol. Recorded demo of both guitar and drums in home studio. Anyone have tips to work on timing? Seems like rythm/tempo on guitar was slightly off in parts and screwed up timing on drums. Is this as simple as using a metronome? I know in bands the drummer handles the timing, but I'm doing this in reverse as a single n00b 😅

Samurai guitarist suggests to have a metronome and to look at the audiosample so that you visually see if you are on time. Next step is to get those vibrating metronomes so you feel the pulse😃
