This bug zapper (on a timer) extends the light to 15 hours (9 hours natural light here right meow). This facilitates ~ 3 or 4 eggs from 5 hens per day. They also get all the bugs that are zappped, and the moths I catch hanging out around the zapper.

You might have noticed the lone roo in the little cage here. I am building out a much bigger cage for him currently: to the right there.
