I am astounded. But you know what this means? It means apps like Damus and other's leveraging the Nostr protocol are a threat. A threat to power. ⚡️

So maybe nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s you could add a monthly or lifetime subscription fee that opens up the option for people to activate zap mode. Pitch zaps as like monopoly money because it's not legal tender in most countries around the world. 🤔

I think of games like Roblox which has Robux and they are transacting with their💩 coins.

Content creators aren't getting paid because there is no legitimate currency exchanging hands.

Or is it possible to hide the zaps behind some kind of feature flag?

I hope it's not really the end for Damus. I don't think it is. I think this is a MASSIVE opportunity to start showing the world where the threats to freedom lie. 🦋

Can our nostr community also spam apple support with email demanding them to keep Damus?

Ultimately, I would love to see a whole new OS emerge (something vastly different to anything we've seen before) to replace these mainstream monopolies 💯
