We are past the early adopter phase how many cypherpunks are there in the world? They probably all found bitcoin by 2015. But I do agree that privacy should be a bigger topic among bitcoiners in general.

New cipherpunks are born everyday. They're just not attracted to Bitcoin now. They all go to Monero.

Plenty of privacy conscious bitcoiners around. But where are the tools? When samourai went down, was surprised to see all the wallets run for the hills instead of finishing the decentralized coordinator

being privacy conscious and using a tool without any privacy is just retarded

Also is being blind to bitcoin as a superior store of value and unit of account. Trade offs.

It's not superior, why would I store value in an unusable transparent chain that leaves me wide open to taxation, regulatory attack, and utxo/address blacklisting? I would have to be retarded to store value in BTC. Just because right now there's a fiat speculation bubble doesn't mean it is a better way to store value. I will take my untraceable anonymous black markets and tax evasion ghost money all day, everyday. Fuck BTC, it is a banker surveillance coin, and a failed p2p digital cash project. If you tried to pay me in BTC, I would instantly flip it for Monero, without a second thought

They’re open networks you can use whatever you want I really don’t care. I see the value in private tx but would never store any meaningful amount in it. You’re just bleeding out in BTC terms like it or not.

yeah, but you are not understanding. I don't want btc, it doesn't have a value proposition to me, and I don't care how much you think I am bleeding out in fiat confetti. I am using a better form of money, that I believe to be superior to btc in every way. I am trying to build a parallel economy not be paid off with fiat to allow btc to be co-opted by banks and the usury economy.

Nobody around here even cares about Samourai

A lot more than some altcoin tell you whut
