When I lay out my socks in my shoes the night before, I ensure that I am motivated and ready to run in the morning. This simple action reduces the friction associated with the habit and significantly increases my likelihood of following through. I have found that when I forget to prepare my socks in advance, it becomes easier for me to make excuses and skip my run. By reducing the barriers and streamlining the process, I have experienced how much easier it becomes to engage in the habits I know make me a better person✊🏼
