Abdomen ripped open, face, head and neck attacked. These are not police or apprehension dogs, they are trained to end a violent threat with controlled greater violence and aggression. Drills run long to build endurance and expose dogs to different scenarios. But in real life, as soon as the threat is over, we call them off and take control of the situation. FYI, Maeve and Punisher come with us to events all over the country and are friendly and get petted by many people. But when it’s time to fight, they give it their all. #grownostr
