1. It’s much more scarce than gold. Exponential more scarce.

2. Availability is limited which feeds into the scarcity. South Africa and Russia produce 90% of all platinum.

3. It’s 10% more dense than gold. It’s one of densest metals in the world.

4. With it being more dense, it’s takes much more energy to extract it from the ground. And has higher melting point.

5. Almost impossible to counterfeit.

Personally, it think it makes for a great money. Even though, that’s not the consensus. Money should be hard. Hard to produce and hard to acquire and platinum has both features. Just go into and coin shop and ask if they have platinum most all cases they will say no or I have this little 5 gram bar. The size of penny.

Gold’s heavy, hard to move, and not digital. #Platinum’s similar. We are in a Fiat world because of this gold’s flaws, platinum might be more of the same. But Bitcoin? Lightweight, instant, and limitless potential! 💻💰🫣

What do you think of palladium?

We think that the problem or the flaw lies on the physicality of whatever you try to use as money in a digital world 🌍
