And good luck with it too. I need to do the same - I’ve developed a very unhealthy aversion to fiat mining lately which is not helping (unless of course they’re paying you in bitcoin).

I share the aversion, however my previous role was eliminated during a company downsize -- so this wasn't on my terms. I only had one month left of severance so this is big.

That sucks but more the sweeter especially before that severance ran out! My biggest hurdle seems to be age and a very generalist background, but I ain’t giving up… Good luck and keep the momentum going! 👍🏼
