I know I miss those days. No phones, no social media, people knew how to hold conversations and be a good friend . It Was a great time to be a kid

It’s so crazy how different things are. My mom used to go crazy trying to get us back in the house on time. Now parents have to go crazy to get their kids out of the house.
So true!!! I would always be outside with my friends.. my kids never go outside to play, luckily they play sports so they get a pass I guess.. I don’t know if it’s me being paranoid about the world because I don’t mind them being home, I know they are safe.. I dunno be a parent is stressful sometimes

This is an illusion caused by 24hr news coverage of every bad thing that does happen to a kid. Kids are statistically much safer now. A kid today's per capita chances of being a victim are near all time lows. Plus more parents are involved and informed enough to make a difference than before.

I believe that this is true but the fact that so many politicians have been involved in child trafficking is concerning. I also wonder if the statistics are faked to protect the pedos.
