In all social networks there are bots. I believe it is almost impossible to prevent it, although in some more than others their presence becomes more difficult. It would even cost more to maintain them. But I also think that they are being noticed more here, since Nostr is a young social network, which does not have more than 400 million active users. Otherwise, those bots would be too busy commenting on posts from one user out of millions all the time.
