The Rotarian Cam, star 🌟 of the show at #neaf is a cam that can pick up frequencies, be operated by smart devices, & has successfully been used to find a possible source from the Sun’s surface of where a flare occurred. One of its developers says this poignant message about how we interact with our Sun: (paraphrase) “just observing the Sun is not enough, we must work to preserve it, our interaction with our Earth. We shouldn’t explore the Sun just for science, or knowledge, it has patterns that change our weather, that is in synchronization with other planets, & activity, within our Solar System that can be mapped out, that directly effects life here on Earth. I wish we would be more concerned, the attitude has to change. Even with all this observation, so little is known of the Sun…”

The Rotarian Cam can collect data of the frequencies & be set to get the best observational image. Now, some telescopes have the ability to create imagery based off of the sounds that the Sun, even planets, are emitting.

Nice astrophotography camera that they are using. I have the ASI533MC Pro which is the colour version of that with a cooled sensor.

Now I’m looking at prices for buying a solar telescope, lol..

This week at the #neaf is astrophotography week. People from all over the world flying-in to make their purchases.

Oh yeah, this is for the Solar Astrophysicists - ones seriously studying the behavior of the Sun in order to make determinate decisions on missions. There are so many more budget-friendly ones out there!

I’ve found that nothing is “budget friendly” for astrophotography! Lol. As soon as you start going down the rabbit hole the cost of everything adds up very quickly!

Yep. Sounds just like music! LOL

You can do some budget friendly astrophotography, but you won’t be taking photos of planets in other solar systems like these telescopes😂.

You should look at some of the vendors 😚 they’re the best out there!

Wow amazing! 😍
