The film?

With the benefit of a few hours of perspective…

This film is a sledgehammer. It began—and from the preview, I thought it was—a drama depicting the insanity of Covid. Then if went right off the rails. Not necessarily in a bad way, but it turns incredibly dark and violent.

I'm glad I saw it. I see it as an important, if merciless, critique of the parts of human nature that led to what lockdowns and bigger forces at play wrought on American society.
