I got to hold and play around with a bitkey in Miami. I feel like the design aesthetics will make this a wildly popular and approachable device for noobs/normies etc…
Hardcore bitcoiners are going to hate it though.
Not sure if the unofficial demo I got was just buggy or the over-reliance on NFC is a huge mistake. I guess we’ll find out at launch.

Me too, but I’m not a “hardcore bitcoiner” for this exact reason. While I am a maximalist, I don’t hate everything that isn’t direct, on-chain transactions. I don’t hate new tech built for Bitcoin
