The guy that closed was a liquidity swap o did way back when. His node has been a pain the whole time. This is the second time it’s happened. I prefer if he didn’t reopen. Even tho he force closed I still had fees come from my node for some reason. It looks like he closed with a to low a fee then did a cpfp fee increase. Just an all round shit show. So it appears you can get fees if they force close and do a cpfp. Don’t get it to be honest.
Are you saying he can reopen the channel with you and you not have any opportunity to decline? Thankful to date I don’t have any experience with this.
Mate anyone can open a Chanel with anybody anytime from my understanding. I do have a lower limit set. There is probably someone more experienced than me that knows how to block a particularl node id

I got you, I wasn’t thinking about that. He just opens to you not that he has you sats tied up. You could increase the minimum channel size to prevent it if you wanted to.
