Oof. Google+ was the best social network I've ever used. And I'm not just saying that because I had 4 million people follow me there. I'm saying it because engagement was incredibly high and the content was superior to anything I'd seen elsewhere. At least until the end.

True, probably because it was easy to use and hooked into a lot of peoples accounts who were tech savvy

Agree. In the beginning it was all techies, Google fans, Android fans, etc. Eventually it grew to slightly more than that, but it always had a hardcore tech user base.

only glassholes remember Google+ groups

i just finally removed myself from our connectables youtube channel last week.Β πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

connectables - the blog that covers all types of technology that connect to something else!

Remember Google Wave though?

I do! I used it and it was great for what it was back then. Google Wave lives on in various Google products through features that were added over the years to Google Drive and Docs.

100% agree. None have yet to replicate the G+ experience. Sad that it was owned by Go(kill everything good they ever made)ogle.

Heh that’s actually where I first came across you is there on google+. Those were the days

oh really? who dis? followed.

I was very sad when Google+ was gone... Prior to that I deleted myself from almost all other social networks... When Google+ closed I disappeared completely until I revived my Twitter account...

I was very sad too. I had so many fond memories of Google+. We had so many great "HIRLs"Β πŸ˜‚ (Hangout In Real Life).
