🚨 PENTAGON: OVER 75 BOMBS, INCLUDING 14 MOPs DROPPED ON IRANIAN TARGRTS IN OPERATION MIDNIGHT HAMMER
The GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) bomb weighs approximately 13,600 kilograms, and makes it one of the heaviest and most powerful non-nuclear bombs in the U.S. arsenal.
The bomb is designed to penetrate deeply buried and fortified targets like Iran's Fordow nuclear facility, with a reported capability to penetrate up to 61 meters below the surface before detonating. It is carried exclusively by the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber.
About 30 Tomahawk cruise missiles both from aircraft and submarines were also fired at Iranian targets which included the Isfahan and Natanz nuclear facilities.
