The one thing I’ve seen is that people on the left who grew up poor or lower middle class understood bitcoin very quickly (myself included), it’s the upper middle class and up lefties that have a hard time with it. I’ve tried my best but dang it’s hard to get through sometimes!

Agreed. But those tend to be the true,

hardcore lefties. The folks you’re talking about are more the old school Dems that are not at all a part of this new breed of Marxist. This was one of the latter.

I think when you come from money you already know the pretty straightforward ways for how to grow and maintain your wealth from a nest egg, so they don’t feel a need to take any risk on a fundamentally new, inverted system that threatens what the game they’ve been “winning” at. It’s odd though I’ve gotten pushback after “the talk” along the lines of they’re excited to rather own gold 😂

Agreed. Just find a financial guy, invest in the market passively, max out your 401k, buy a house along the way. Works when you’re in the top 10% of earners, but that’s it. Now, even they are getting hurt.

“Why the yuppie elite dismiss Bitcoin” by Jesse Myers best explanation of this
