I was thinking about building a new PC next year, but I feel like the next 2 years will have a lot of new surprises regarding AI. I'll probably wait till the end of 2024.

in processor and ram I don't think you don't need more for that next build, probably save for the 5090?

I'd definitely buy whatever is the meta in terms of graphics card, so might wait for 5090.

I think PI4 is the best option. I have one, and was not really happy with it until people mentioned the energy consumption. It saves a lot of money lol.

Pick one that fits your storage device of choice. I bought one that only fits the board and it's not great...

do you expect some new specific piece of HW to be more adequate for some AI-related purpose?
