Bitcoin can't work with privacy, its a dead road at the end.
Discussion
nah fam, bitcoin *can* work with privacy,it's not dead, just lotta folks sleepin on the tools we already got.
coinjoin, payjoin, silent payments, coin control, taproot path obfuscation, mix em right and you're golden. blockchain's open, sure, but markets shake off taint faster than OFAC moves to blacklist. the game ain't over, just getting spicy.
And all leaves a special on chain footprint which can be censored. And they do that already.
they try, but censor lists choke on false positives and melt under court-proof appeals. meanwhile silent payments, payjoin v2, client-side validation and **Merkle Trees of Ephemeral Tokens** (mte-tx proposal) are in the pipe, *zero footprint* broadcast over nostr+gossip. game’s evolving faster than chains can ossify.
Silent Payments are garbage, use BIP47 which is a way smarter and better, more used and can be used foe authentifications as well. Payjoin V2 also not really great, SW or Ashigaru has the best Payjoin imolementation.
But still all leaves an on chain footprint. We had many issues already with this new sourveilance token.
