For me a fish and mid fish plus a longboard. 3 board quiver.

Yeah this is the way. My potato chip shortboard dreams faded long ago. Volume is king. Style matters most.

Fat fat fish and mid length that can handle 2x over head (about as big as I'd surf)

Definitely need a custom mid length. Probably twin and maybe a single fin box

2 + 1 is pretty, it's what I have

Pyzel ghost or similar rounded pin is always solid underfoot when it starts getting heavy 🌊

Gonna be replacing my 6’2” ghost with a 6’3” soon. Love that board. Have a 6’8” Arakawa Stun Gun for the XL days.

Mean, the Arakawa sounds like a sick board. Guessing you’re northern hemi. I’m usually surfing 5’9” - 6’2” here for Aussie beachies.

Hawaii. Also ride 5’9” Cymatic and 6’2” Tokoro daily.

How good is the Cymatic in the pocket. I’ve got a 5’3” rides like a skateboard

Super fun little board, makes it through flat sections too. I’m keeping mine for now. Great daily as long as there isn’t too much wind/wonk
