I suspect it’s likely that several people from the intelligence world did create it. Particularly because of the literal translation of Satoshi Nakamoto.

The truth is, it doesn’t matter. The intel world created Tor as well.

But the elegance of the design.. is kind of Bill Binney-ish. Or someone from that world. And the Op Sec required to leave no trace…I lean toward no one actually knowing.
