The best thing to do is long-term hodl #bitcoin and starve out the fiat war machine. Debating which side is right in a war that would have no capital and no motivation without fiat is a psyop.

There are multiple genocides going on currently. Uyghurs. Darfuris. Rohingyains. Palestinians.

Singling out one of the multitude of ongoing atrocities while ignoring others is creepy (or out of touch) in itself.

There is absolutely nothing you or I can do directly. Ruminating on something outside of your control is a failure of “Dichotomy of control” and has no positive outcomes, only negative.

Certainly not many people want civilians to be indiscriminately killed. Governments murder people, terrorist groups murder people. This is a terrible reality and unfortunately there is little the average pleb, such as you or I, can do about it. People here in Nostr largely know this, haven't picked a side and probably feel like the whole thing is an unfolding tragedy, but one out of our circle of control.

What would us discussing it, and getting angry with each other over issues we have no control over, do for the people being killed?

What's there to say? Nothing new, all this stuff has been going on for a long time. It's just being popularized now.
